Jake Schmidt manages the firm’s litigation practice group, while also assisting clients with matters in estate planning, LLCs and other business entities, intellectual property, and real estate.
Background
Prior to joining the firm, Jake served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri, where he litigated cases in state and federal court. Jake has practiced in all stages of litigation, from jury trial to the Missouri Supreme Court. He simultaneously served in a variety of other roles, including general counsel, federal grant procurements, and mentor to interns and new attorneys. Jake has also worked extensively with small businesses and entrepreneurs to advise them on their business needs and intellectual property.
